Come visit our neighbors Peter and Cathy Kohl at their new KC Buffalo Co. website and see why Kansas Citians are beating a path to their door for their highly nutritious and responsibly grown and processed meat products.

Also, visit our new woodworking business The Country Woodworker where we craft high quality heirloom period and reproduction antique furniture from sold wood which we recycle from storm damaged urban timber.

Developing materials which effectively balance the needs of product, marketing, and sales managers is what we do best. Various departments all hold a stake in the expenditure of funds budgeted for reaching your customers. We take care to listen and address those concerns in every project we undertake. Whether designing the layout, traffic flow, site graphics, multimedia displays and customer retention plan of your next big trade show booth or the development of a small run of point-of-purchase displays, we know how to get the job done. Our experience includes six-figure budgets with extensive logistical and planning objectives successfully met at venues such as Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada.

CATALOGS....

This is a cover developed for the full production line of Handheld hydraulic tools offered by the Hydraulic Tools Division of the Stanley Works. Inside, more than 100 tools and their variants were featured including brief specifications and photos of each. We managed the product photography shoots, and high resolution scanning and then produced the final design, layout and separation ready Quark document including all the clipping paths and drop shadows ready for ripping, trapping and output to final litho negs. In addition, we speced the printing, management the budget and all press checks and approvals.

CORPORATE ID, TRADEMARKS AND LOGOS....

The trademark at left was developed for Allied Systems Research Inc., A Kansas City company that developed and engineered an innovative new approach to humidification for home and industrial applications. Concurrent with the mark, we implemented the design into a small brochure, product labeling, and corporate letterhead, envelopes and business cards.

TRADE, MAGAZINE AND NEWSPAPER ADS

This ad was produced for the Hydraulic Tools Division of the Stanley Works in its entirety from the photography to the final layout and copy. It appeared in major rental and construction market publications over a 12-month period as well as being used as a point of purchase display.

BROCHURES

This is a cover design developed to grow business with not -for-profit organizations in and about the great lakes. Our interest in nautical and maritime history and crafts, along with our development of a line of products targeted to the large and wealthy demographic group that visited the Lake Superior region from Minnesota's Twin Cities, made this a natural way to gain the support of these organizations while we joined forces to display our products on their shelves to their 1/2 million annual visitors.

TEXTILE IMPRINT GRAPHICS....

This design was the flagship of a line of screen printed apparel products marketed through a rep at the Minneapolis Gift Mart. It was one of almost a dozen designs that are still selling at lighthouse museums and gift shops around the shores of Lake Superior. Other custom pieces were derived from this and other designs in the line especially to help our customers increase market share and shelf space at a variety of specialty shops. The "Wilding Designs" trade mark line included designs depicting old fishing lures, loons, northern wildflowers, lighthouses, wolves and more.

DIRECT MAILERS, NEWSLETTERS, SAFETY OPERATION AND PART MANUALS....

This newsletter, produced quarterly for the Hydraulic Tools Division of the Stanley Works, is distributed to their dealers, prospects, and sales associates to be used as a sales and marketing aid to leave with new prospects or to be handed out at trade shows. The Attachment Briefings features testimonials from existing product users interviewed by a public relations specialist and technical writer who developed the stories, while final layout, technical editing, image work and final production was done in Quark Xpress, Photoshop and Illustrator or FreeHand.

SALES KITS, POINT OF PURCHASE DISPLAYS, TRADE SHOW GRAPHICS....

The Outside and Inside covers (pictured here) of this pocket folder were produced for the Hydraulic Tools Division of the Stanley Works to dramatically illustrate the features and benefits of the newly designed Series 6 Hydraulic Breakers from Stanley. The unique design and graphics were used to help differentiate Stanley from the largely commodity market of hydraulic breakers and related attachments being marketed by a wide range of small to large corporations. Competition included companies with as few as 100 employees to industry giants such as Caterpillar. The Illustration showed a photograph manipulated to be cut away and reveal an illustrated 3D rendering of the outer, and on the next page, the inner workings of the power cell of the hydraulic breaker, right down to the pistons, rings, nitrogen chamber and fittings.
